Juvenile Crime Prevention Council

Purpose


The purpose of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council is to review the needs of the juvenile population in the county who are at risk of delinquency or who have been adjudicated undisciplined or delinquent, to ensure that appropriate intermediate dispositional options are available, and to make recommendations to the board of commissioners on the level of state funding to be awarded to local delinquency prevention programs.

Meeting Schedule (All Meetings Are Open to the Public):
 
The next meeting will be August 10, 2021 at 12:30pm at the Agricultural Extension Building.  Our meetings are normally the second Tuesday of the month.  

Special Meetings:

None at this time.
 

JCPC Member Vacancies:
-A member of the faith community
-Two persons under the age of 21, or one person under the age of 21 and one member of the public             representing the interests of families of at-risk juveniles
