Juvenile Crime Prevention Council

Purpose


The purpose of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council is to review the needs of the juvenile population in the county who are at risk of delinquency or who have been adjudicated undisciplined or delinquent, to ensure that appropriate intermediate dispositional options are available, and to make recommendations to the board of commissioners on the level of state funding to be awarded to local delinquency prevention programs.

Meeting Schedule (All Meetings Are Open to the Public)

Due to COVID-19 and the Governor's Executive Order, the JCPC meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday, April 14,2020 has been canceled.  At this time, the next meeting will be May 12, 2020.

Monthly Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and are held at the Iredell County Public Library, 201 North Tradd Street, Statesville, NC.  The meeting begins at 12:30 pm.


Special Meetings:
There are no special meetings scheduled at this time.
